At work

Nick founded The Pension Planner with his business partner Andrew in 2012. Before that, Nick had been working as an Independent Financial Adviser since 2004; helping his clients with every aspect of their personal financial planning.

Years of experience have given Nick the desire to do things differently; putting clients’ interests firmly in the centre of the financial advice process.

From helping you save for retirement, to making sure your existing provisions are working hard for you, Nick has the expertise and understanding to help you make smart financial decisions; so that you can focus on enjoying life.

At home

Nick is the proud father of four young children, Nancy, William, Oliver & Molly. His work really begins when he gets home from the office!

He is a passionate endurance athlete and has completed three of the world’s toughest Ironman Triathlons. Nick is also a keen aviator and holds a private pilot’s licence. He also enjoys travelling the world on holidays with his family.

The important stuff

All regulated financial advisers must be authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and therefore appear on their register. You can find Nick’s entry here.

Furthermore, all advisers must have an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing (SPS). This shows they are suitably qualified. You should be wary of any advisers who refuse to provide copies of their SPS. Nick’s SPS is available upon request.
